Ursan Team Reborn
With the current use of oath shot limiting ursans to R/Me, My guild Legacy of Knightly Immortals [Loki]'s esteemed member Stealthy King James has developed a new method for achieving the same effect while broadening the range of classes able to utilize the build. Stealthy worked closely with our beloved guild leader Fallen God Loki to create this Team build, which was designed for DoA and FoW, and is being tested in other elite areas.

Promised Ursan:
1x Promised Monk:
[build= Promised Monk 1;OwcT0Yo6RajY6LHUi4F0mYBSmAA]
This monk uses Rebirth because energy isn't a problem for him/her to recover and maintain with the spirit enchants up.
One Assassin's Promise monk is enough per elite area, the remaining monks needed (depending on the demands of the zone) should utilize the standard hb monk.
HB Monk:
[build= Healer's Boon Monk;OwYS0YIT/ObE5gSEIDfExVoR]
Ursans mimic Assassin's Promise from the Promised Monk allowing for recharge of ursan upon the death of the target. It is recommended for Ursans to Practice timing the use of Assassin's Promise before enemy death due to the limited duration for non assassin primary characters.
Promised Ursan Example Builds:
Me/W
[build= Promised Ursan 1;OQFVAKhOOaWTyoUGImUX00RCIuJIAA]
W/Me
[build= Promised Ursan 2;OQUSEZKTGlCFdaMFwOxNiOBB]
Thank you for your time, and happy hunting .
Note: Ursan is not the end all be all of team builds. This is being posted for those who choose the continue to use it regardless of its inferiority.

You've swapped Oath Shot for Assassin's Promise. No offense dude, but this isn't rocket science and has been known for about a week already.

It is just amazing to what lengths people can go to use ursan, but try to convince them to get a rez, a splinter weapon, drop their self-heals from their builds or play hybrid monks, and they won't.

wow.. is the forum community going through a negative patch recently? it seems like you guys cant say anything constructive about builds anymore! and if people want to experiment with ursan, let them, they have that right. endflame.
@stealthy: well, u get an A for ingenuity mate, dont think people would have thought to put assassin's promise on the monk bar. Maybe list this team build as a variant to the other revived ursan builds?

I am glad that people are looking for new ways to use Ursan. Why is everyone so determined to make it one of those skills that never sees the light of day. I hope the same kind of whiners are not around for gw2. I can just imagine the amount of crazy posting. Asura are better at x, norn are better at x, char are better at x and we want it all changed.
Honestly it isn't the skills that are making people run from gw, it is the damn whiners. You want to know what those elitist that are all about hating Ursans look like,. Now just imagine that with some screaming about how Ursans have ruined their life.

Wow, did you even read the thread? They don't mimic Ursan, they mimic AP so that Ursan will recharge. You seriously need to get your eyes checked.
I'm honestly so bored of seeing people whine and complain about ursan teams re-forming. Just grow up people and find a guild that will do old school teams. Gez, it's not that damn hard.

The sad part of the nerf is not so much about skills, is the fast team formation and fast quad runs in HM. Now DOA is all but dead, except for the occation guild team coming through, farming, and trading.
You could always do NM with physical teams and tank and spank teams and even in HM the tank and spank teams work, except for Mallyxp (whether it bey cryway, ritway, eleway), but generally these were much slower than Ursan Teams especially in HM. Now there is no standard team, there is no team formation, therefore DOA died.

You underestimate the GW players, gerg-nad. Every time Anet has nerfed their PvE teams, they've eventually found a new way to do it. In a couple of weeks, someone will have a new build and put it on PvX that is stupid easy and fast, and then DoA will fill up again.

We can't just nerf other skills that help Ursan...bomb UB itself to the ground so no more of these builds come up and continue killing our eco(along with permasin and terra of course). But I must say that was a creative/good build.
